Indians Finish 2nd at Sterling Invitational
The St. Francis Indians competed in the Sterling Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 16th. The Indians met Sterling, Akron, and Flemming in their opening matches of the pool tournament. The Indians finished the opening round pool play in second place (Akron 1st, Sterling 3rd, and Flemming 4th) and completed the tournament by meeting North Platte and Merino in the placing pool.
Freddy Pacheco, Terrence Lamb, and Adam Guthmiller were all undefeated in the tournament. Austin Manners and Casey Keller each were 4-1 for the tournament. Others attending the tournament were Mikey Leibbrandt, Dylan Wolaver, Grady Brunk, and Zach Gienger. Individual match results are listed below.
