Junior High Wrestling - Monday, February 20th
Monday 11:30 AM: The junior high wrestling team WILL travel to Oakley to wrestle in the NWKL tournament.
The Northwest Kansas League Junior High Wrestling Tournament will be held in Oakley on February 20th. Wrestling will begin at 3:00 PM in the Oakley High School Gymnasium. Participating teams will be Decatur Community, Hoxie, Oakley, Rawlins County, St. Francis, and Wichita County. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. The tournament will be seeded on Wednesday, February 15th.
Junior High Girls Basketball - Monday and Tuesday, February 20 & 21
The junior high girls basketball game with Oakley has been CANCELED due to weather. Oakley will forfeit to St. Francis. The girls will now play Rawlins County at 2:00 PM in the St. Francis High School Gym on Tuesday, February 21.
The junior high girls will be participating in the Northwest Kansas League Junior High Basketball Tournament on February 20 and 21. First round games will be played on Monday at the site of the higher seeded teams. The St. Francis A-Team will play Oakley in St. Francis at 2:00 PM in the high school gymnasium. St. Francis will not compete in the B-Team bracket.
The semi-final and final rounds of the tournament will be played on February 21 in St. Francis. See the article entitled " JH Girls Basketball Tournament Brackets Set" for more info.
