Junior High Track Gets Underway
The junior high track season has begun. The season got underway on Monday, March 14, with an organizational meeting with the athletes. Practice began the following day.
The team will be under the direction of coaches Ted Busse and Kent Kechter. Three student-coaches will also be working with the team--Adam Guthmiller, Sarah Trembly, and Isaac Schiltz
The first competition date for the team is on Thursday, April 14th, when the teams will travel to Oakley for the Oakley Invitational Track and Field Meet.
Forty-two student-athletes are participating in track-and-field this year. A listing of the participants is below.
Eighth grade boys: Tristan Archer, Shakotah Blanka, Cade Bracelin, Tanner Gilliland, Jonathan Hoard, Matthew Howell, Riley Shay, and Kyler Zweygardt
