MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING––JULY 25, 2011
A special meeting of the Board was called to order at 7:30 a.m. on the above date by President Derrick Tice in the St. Francis administration office, with all members present except Ed Marin. Assistant Board Clerk Traci Neitzel was also present.
A motion was made by Mila Bandel, seconded by Mary Beth Miller, and carried to approve the agenda that had been mailed to Board members on July 20, 2011.
The main purpose for this special meeting was a review of the proposed budget for FY 2012. Following review and discussion of all funds in the FY 2012 budget, Sherry Weeks moved, Mary Beth Miller seconded, and it carried that the FY 2012 budget be published in the July 28 edition of the St. Francis Herald as proposed. The overall mill levy for this budget is projected at 40.062 mills (last year’s budget was 39.628 mills). The budget hearing is scheduled to be held at the next regular Board meeting on August 11.
There were no miscellaneous items to discuss.
At 8:15 a.m., Kelly Gienger moved that the meeting adjourn; the motion was seconded by Mila Bandel and carried.
