Coach Tina Elliott had the following comments on the day, "The A & B teams played in different gyms at the same time for this tournament so Talley Morrow filled in and coached the B team. Both teams did well by winning 3 out of 4 matches. This was a good day for us to get a lot of playing time and give us more experience. A team got a good start with defeating Quinter and Oakley in the first two matches and then lost against Colby which was tough for us since we had just won against them when we played them at home last Thursday, but we got through it and came out with determination for our final match and beat Rawlins. The B team worked hard in their first match and won against Quinter, then although they lost to Oakley it was a close match, they worked hard and just ended up short in the end. They let that one go and came back strong and beat Colby and Rawlins County. I’m proud of the girls and we have a winning season at this point and we hope to continue the wins."

The junior high girls will play in Oberlin on Thursday, September 22, at 4:30 PM.
