Junior High Wrestlers Perform Well At Atwood Quad
The junior high wrestling team traveled to Atwood on Thursday evening, February 16, for some wrestling action. The evening proved to be a good one for the young Indians as they defeated all of the competing teams in head-to-head action. St. Francis defeated Oakley 10 matches to 6 matches; Atwood 5-1, Hoxie 2-1, and Trego Community 4-3.

Coach Steve Jenkins was pleased with the performance of the wrestlers and provided this comment on the evening, "This is the best we have looked all year and I am really excited to watch these kids on Monday at the NWKL tournament. They were physical and tough and seem to want it all --we'll see."
The wrestlers will be competing in the Northwest Kansas League Wrestling Tournament in Oakley on Monday, February 20th.
