Junior High Wrestlers Place Second

Hobrock and Landenberger Win Championships

The junior high wrestling team fared well in the Northwest Kansas League Junior High Wrestling Tournament in Oakley on Monday, February 20.  St. Francis placed second in the team scoring with 101.5 team points.  Oakley won the team championship with 146 points.  Decatur Community placed 3rd (98.5), Wichita County 4th (78), Rawlins County 5th (61), and Hoxie 6th (46).

Earning individual championships were Lane Hobrock and J.R. Landenberger (jv).  Clay Cassaw, Garrett Brunk, Justin Pacheco, Austin Patton, Blake Meyer, and Jude Faulkender earned second place finishes.  Placing third for the Indians were Kenny Leibbrandt, Taylor Rogers, Jeremiah Neitzel (jv), and Ryan Grover.  Phillip White, Connor Mcbride, and Zach White (jv) placed fourth.
