Girls Basketball Letter Winners Named
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHead Coach Susan Dinkel has released the names of the 2011-2012 girls basketball letter winners. Seven girls were named for their performance in the past season. The girls compiled a season record of 6-15.
Student/athletes earning letter awards for the season were:
Seniors: Kaitlin Figgins and Jenna Hill
Juniors: Laura Brunk and Clarice Neitzel. Audrey Mills was awarded a provisional letter.
Sophomore: Aly Schlepp
Freshmen: Kyla Bandel and Justice Wiley
A new school scoring record was set during the season. Kaitlin Figgins set a new record for most points in one game when she scored 41 points against Osborne in the first round of substate play. The previous record was 36 points and was held by Julie Burnham. Julie graduated with the class of 1981. Both Megan Kinen (class of 1982) and Michelle Young (class of 2000) scored 35 points in one game.
