Scholar's Bowl Team Undefeated at Bird City
The St. Francis High School Scholars' Bowl team competed in Bird City on Monday, November 17. The team defeated each of the other teams twice during the competition and swept the playoff rounds (undefeated for the evening) to take first place in the competition.
Coach Jackie Cole described the evening in these words, "Like a runaway team of horses, like an avalanche on a Teflon mountain, like a junior high boy after a six pack of energy drinks, your Scholars' Bowl team was unstoppable last night in Bird City."
The Scholars' Bowl team will compete in Goodland on Thursday, November 20.
