Sub-State Basketball in Quinter
Both Girls & Boys Play Monday
The Class 1A-Division 1 Sub-State Basketball Tournament will played in Quinter on March 2-7, 2015. Only five teams are assigned to the Sub-State. Competing teams include: Hoxie, Quinter, St. Francis, Stockton, and Victoria. Both boys and girls teams from these schools will be participating.
The seeding for the Sub-State Tournament was held on Wednesday, February 25. The Lady Indians were seeded 4th and will play Victoria (4-15) on Monday, March 2, at 6:00 in Quinter. The boys were also seeded 4th and will play Quinter (9-11) on the same evening at 7:30 p.m. The winners of the contests will advance to the semi-final contests later in the week. The girls semi-final contests will be played on Thursday, March 5. The boys semi-final contests will be played on Friday, March 6. The Sub-State championship contests will be played on Saturday, March 7.
The seedings and team records for the girls Sub-State teams are: 1st - Hoxie 20-0; 2nd - Stockton 12-8; 3rd - Quinter 7-13; 4th - St. Francis 7-13; and 5th - Victoria 4-15.
The seedings and team records for the boys Sub-State teams are: 1st - Stockton 14-6; 2nd - Hoxie 14-6; 3rd - Victoria 12-7; 4th - St. Francis 10-10; and 5th - Quinter 9-10.
