Junior High Indians Dominate the Bulldogs, 62-28

Saint Francis hikes the ball at the junior high football game Thursday, Sept. 1. The Indians defeated the Quinter Bulldogs, 62-28.ST. FRANCIS, KAN. - The Saint Francis junior high football team scored an impressive win at home, 62-28, Thursday, September 1 against the Quinter Bulldogs.
The Indians scored two touchdowns, plus a two-point conversion in the first quarter. In the second quarter Shadryon Blanka, Saint Francis eighth grader, ran for an impressive touchdown.
Nicholas O’Loughlin, Saint Francis head junior high football coach, said the team performed well “against a team that size.”
“We threw, ran and kicked the ball great this evening and we had some great tackles,” O’Loughlin said.

Dinkel said the best play of the game was when Adam ran for the touchdown in fourth quarter.
“Seeing how hard they work encourages me to work harder,” Dinkel said. “They are awesome and I have high expectations for them.”

“I performed great and the team performed well throughout the entire game,” Mills said.
