SAINT FRANCIS, Kan. -- The Saint Francis Indians dominated another game at home by defeating the Quinter Bulldogs by halftime with a score of 57-0 on October 21.

The Saint Francis football team increased their undefeated record to 7-0.

“The kids played extremely well in a difficult situation,” said Rodney Yates, head football coach.  “Quinter’s going through some down years athletically in football and they only have nine kids on their roster so it’s tough to compete when you know a team isn’t as tough as your team.”

Seniors involved in football, pep band, and cheerleading were recognized at the game including: Keanu Bussell, Jenna Confer, Quinton Cravens, Julia Davis, Ryan Grover, Joel Hill, Jeremiah Neitzel, Makayla Rogers, Taylor Rogers, Katie Schmid, Brock Waters.

“It’s been a lot of fun playing here and playing with all of the guys here,” said Brock Waters, Saint Francis senior.

“I really enjoyed tonight’s game. I’m excited to see where the rest of their season takes them,” said Jenna Confer, Saint Francis senior.

The team will be traveling to Wakeeney Thursday, October 27 to take on Trego at 7 p.m.
