The Saint Francis junior high boys A-Team is having a great year. With only one loss for the season in overtime, the Indians are out for redemption on a good Hoxie Indian team. “I think we will win league and beat Hoxie.” said Kobe Tice, Saint Francis eighth grader.

But in the meantime, the Indians are beating teams by more than 20 points. Monday night the A-Team junior high Indians played Sharon Springs and left the Wildcats going home empty handed. The Indians won the game 55-10. “It was a good win,” said Shadryon Blanka, Saint Francis eighth grader. “I feel we played really well.”

The Indians work very well together as a team and that is what makes them good. “I feel we work well as a team mainly because we have worked together all of our lives,” said Garin Cooper, Saint Francis eighth grader.

The Junior High B-Team has a record of 4-2. They beat the Wildcats with their two leading scorers Ben Busse, Saint Francis sixth grader, with 20 points, and Preston Witzel, Saint Francis sixth grader, with 12 points. The young Indians beat the Wildcats 32-12.
