Cookies Delivered to Village
Launch the media gallery 1 playerSaint Francis Community High School yearbook students delivered cookies to the Good Samaritan Village nursing home on their last day of class for the semester.
"It was fun because we got to see most of the residents smile, and clap. It was fun giving them cookies," said Bryce Raby-Culwell, Saint Francis sophomore.
C.J. Sherman, Saint Francis junior, said he enjoyed visiting the residents of the Village. "I was nice to see everyone smiling while we were singing," he said.
The idea to deliver cookies on the last day of the semester came up as an idea from the 21st Century Journalism class.
