On Tuesday, Feb. 7, the Sainty Indian boys basketball team came out on top against the Brewster Titans, 55-37. After losing a hard fought battle the week before, the Indians redeemed themselves with the win over Brewster.

The Titans played the Indians close in the first half with the halftime score, 23-18. “Brewster is a good team, it was fun to get a win against them,” said Junior Tate Busse.

Senior Brock Waters echoed Busse’s excitement. “It felt really good to get the win tonight,” said Waters.

Busse and Waters agreed they still have things to work on. “I felt we played good as a team, but there were times we weren’t on the same page,” said Waters. “We need to work on working the offense more.” Waters scored 10 points for the Indians against Brewster.

“We still have a lot to work on. We need to work on our team defense to get to where we want to be by the end of the season,” said Busse, who led the team in scoring 14 points for the Indians Tuesday night.
