SF Track Teams Compete Well at RC Invite
The high school track season is officially underway! The Indians and Lady Indians competed in the Atwood Invitational Track and Field Meet on Friday, April 7. Both teams performed well. The Indians easily outdistanced the boys competition scoring 142 team points to win the team championship. The Lady Indians placed 4th in the girls division with 67 team points. Five teams competed in the meet including Cheylin, Hitchcock County (NE), Rawlins County, St. Francis, and Wallace County.
Individual event winners for St. Francis were: Jordan Raby, 100m dash and 400m dash; K.C. Krien 800m run; Cody Baxter, 300m hurdles; Luin Norris, discus; Tayton Weeter, pole vault; and all three relay teams--4 X 100m, 400 X 800m and 4 X 400m. Individual winners for the Lady Indians were: Hannah Zimbal, 400m dash; Taighe Weeter, 800m run; and the 4 X 400m relay team.

Girls Results
Rawlins County won the girls division scoring 95 team points. Hitchcock County placed second with 87. Wallace County earned third with 83, St. Francis fourth with 67, and Cheylin 5th with 23 team points.

St. Francis won the boys division racking up 142 team points. Rawlins County was a distant second with 88. Wallace County placed third with 74, Cheylin fourth with 27 and Hitchcock County 5th with 12 team points.
