Minutes of the Special Budget Hearing meeting--August 28, 2017
The meeting was called to order by Cale Rieger in the administration office on the above date at 7:46 a.m. with everyone present except Ed Marin.
Troy Hilt made a motion to approve the agenda; the motion was seconded by Mila Bandel and carried.
Items on the Consent Calendar were next considered. Following review of these items, Derrick Tice moved, Shannon Grover seconded, and it carried to approve the consent calendar, including the following items: 1) The minutes of the regular Board meeting on August 10, 2017.
While waiting for Patrons to arrive to discuss the Budget, Superintendent Schiltz reported to the Board on various items including the ACES project; KESA and the Walk-Through training that he, David Morrow and Darla Raile were involved in.
At 8:07 a.m., there was no audience for the budget hearing. Derrick Tice moved that the budget be adopted as published in the August 17, 2017, edition of the St. Francis Herald; the motion was seconded by Shannon Grover and carried.
The next Board of Education meeting will be held on September 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.
At 8:11 a.m., Mila Bandel moved that the meeting adjourn; the motion was seconded by Chris Bracelin and carried.
