Football Players Selected to Play

Between the high school basketball games with Cheylin on Tuesday, February 13, a few moments were taken to recognize three outstanding St. Francis High School football players. The players have received the post-season honor of playing in the 8-man All-Star DI Football Game and one has been invited to participate in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.

Tate Busse has been selected to participate in the Kansas Shrine Bowl Football Game. Tate will be play in the game to be held on July 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Carrie Smith Stadium in Pittsburg, Kansas. Tate was recognized by the local Shriner's organization members as well as other Shrine officials before the boys basketball game on Tuesday.

Tate Busse, Trayton Doyle, and Dalton Straub were selected to play in the 8-man DI All-Star Football Game. The three Indians will be in action in Beloit on June 9. Kick-off for the DI game is set for 10 a.m. The DII game will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Trojan Field.
