Launch the media gallery 1 playerNikolai (Nick) Paulsen, senior, is interested in doing a physical therapy assistant program in Colby Community College in order to become a PTA. A PTA is a certified physical therapy assistant. Nick looks forward to meeting new people in college. He enjoys helping people and thinks this is a good way to do so. It typically takes around two years to become a PTA.
Nick did many extra curricular activities at SFCHS. He was in honor band a number of years and participated in sports including football and track. In honor band, Nick played the trumpet. He started playing in the fifth grade and has continued to practice ever since then.
Luin Norris, a classmate of Nick’s, said, “Nick is a really good person. He is always there to help in anyway you need him, and if he isn’t available, he asks others to help and he is all-around just a good person and a good friend.” Luin described his friend as,”funny, caring, honest and just fun to be around.”
Jessica Confer, junior, who has been in band with Nick for four years, said, “Nick is a nice and outgoing guy. He’s always willing to help with anything. He has helped me figure out notes and rhymes through the years.” She said she enjoyed band with Nick very much and will miss having him there.
