Featuring: Luke Lampe

Luke Lampe, to most, is a quiet kid. To his friends though, Luke is a Fortnite fanatic, Chinese buffet demolisher, and cunning camper.

“We started being friends by playing video games together after school,” said Nikolai Paulsen, senior.

Paulsen and Lampe have been friends since junior high. Paulsen plays Fortnite and other online games with him almost daily.

“He’s very confident in his play style and in person. He knows his limits,” said Paulsen.

Lampe played football all four years of high school. Rodney Yates, head football coach, said Lampe has been an asset to the team.

“Luke is a quiet competitor,” Yates said. “He’s a missile. He plays at one speed and he destroys and destructs what is in his way.”

Jeff Olofson, science teacher, said Lampe is very smart. “He’s arguably one of the quietest kids in the school, but he’s also very intelligent,” Olofson said.

Lampe is one of the top students in his class. Because of his outstanding grades, he has been on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll all four years, he was a prom server his freshman year (which is reserved for the highest academic achieving students), and was inducted to the Saint Francis Honor Society this year.
