Saint Francis FFA Vet Science CDE
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn November 27th, the Saint Francis FFA Vet Science Team did well in Colby. It was the third Career Development Event (CDE) for the chapter. The CDE had two parts that all focused on skills needed in animal health care professions. The first part was a 50 question written test about disease, abnormalities and science and with a 10 problem math practicum. Then the contestants had an identification test that consisted of 50 different tools, animals breeds, and parasites.
There were four senior team members, Echoe Lennox who placed 36th, Mason Schmid who placed 47th, Garin Cooper who placed 69th, and Shadryon Blanka who placed 70th out of 128 contestants. St. Francis was in charge of the event, and Hadleigh Hilt and Marlo Jensen helped as contest hosts. Job Interview is the next Leadership Development Event (LDE) on the schedule for the chapter, and it will be held January 10, 2019.
