MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING – JANUARY 25, 2019
SUPERINTENDENT’S SEARCH:
The special Board meeting was called to order on the above date at 3:30 P.M. by Board President Cale Rieger in the administration office with all members present except Danielle McAtee and Chris Hingst. No Administration was present for this meeting.
The Board of Education of USD 297, by resolution has agreed to hire Mr. Mark Penka, as Superintendent for USD 297 for the school years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 per the Contract for Superintendent dated January 25, 2019.
At 3:31 P.M. Mila Bandel made a motion to approve the contract to Mark Penka as Superintendent of USD 297 commencing July 1, 2019 until June 30, 2021. The motion was seconded by Troy Hilt, and carried.
At 3:35 P.M., Chris Bracelin made a motion to adjourn; the motion was seconded by Troy Hilt and carried.
