Volleyball Practice Underway
The 2019 edition of the Lady Indian Volleyball team is currently being molded. Eighteen young women comprise the high school volleyball team. The team is coached by ShayLinn Zweygardt and Talley Morrow. Team members include the following student/athletes:
Seniors - Karly Bandel, Alondra Gomez, Audrey Meyer, Perla Yanez, and Hannah Zimbal
Juniors - Emma Johnson, Mierya Palasio-Rocha, and Kattie Wurm
Sophomores - Jordyn Faulkender, Hadleigh Hilt, Mia Morrow, McKenna Poling, Hailey Robbins, and Bailey Workman
Freshmen - Molly Gilliland, Jesslynn Houtman, Elle Krien, and Rian Zimbal
Serving as managers will be Cassidy Busse, Danny Broughman, Makaila Matthies, and Jacki Milliken. The Lady Indians will open their season on Friday, August 30, when they travel to Lone Star (Colorado) to play the Lady Longhorns. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
