FFA Students Participate In Dairy Contest
On Wednesday, October 9, the St. Francis FFA Dairy Judging Team competed in a Dairy Judging Contest in Bird City. The Senior Team consisting of Colton Neitzel, Jordyn Faulkender, McKenna Poling, and Caleb Todd earned first place in the competition. In the individual senior placings, Kattie Wurm placed 3rd and Colton Neitzel 5th.
The St. Francis Greenhand Team placed 5th. The team consisted of Rian Zimbal, Molly Gilliland, Preston Witzel, and Jesslynn Houtman. Rian placed 2nd in the individual greenhand competition.
The 8th Grade Team placed 4th. The 8th Grade Team was made of Kinley Havel, Makaila Matthies, and Deija Kabureck. Makiala placed 1st in the 8th Grade individual competition. Deija tied for 9th place.
