NWKL VB Tournment Saturday
The Northwest Kansas League Volleyball Tournament will be held in Oberlin on Saturday, October 19. First serve is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The tournament was seeded on Wednesday, October 16. The competition will be divided into two pools of play according to record. Pool A matches will be played in the Decatur Community Sr. High Gym. Pool B matches will be played in the Decatur Community Jr. High Gym. St. Francis will compete in Pool B. The top two teams in each pool will qualify for bracket play.
Pool A consists of teams from Dighton, Greeley County, and Rawlins County. Pool B consists of teams from Decatur Community, Quinter, St. Francis, and Wallace County. Hoxie will not be competing in the NWKL Tournament as they are moving to the Mid-Continent League. Seeding records are shown below.

There will be a 30-minute break following pool play. Teams will be cross-bracketed and placed on the bracket for competition as shown below.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students (K-12). League passes will not be accepted. The Decatur County 4-H clubs are having a 4-H Tailgate Party on Saturday during the tournament. The tailgate party is from 11:00 to 1:00"ish" in the DCHS Cafeteria. Cost is a free will donation.
