Students Selected For Honor Concert
Several St. Francis High School music students were recently rewarded with a selection to the Northwest District KMEA Honor Band and Choir. The student-musicians have been practicing college-level music for their auditions to earn a spot in the Honor Band or Honor Choir.
The students selected to participate in the this year's Honor Band are McKenna Poling - flute; Molly Gilliland - alto saxophone; Mia Morrow - trumpet; and Isaiah Lee - euphonium. Students selected for Honor Choir are Hadleigh Hilt - soprano; Hailey Robbins - alto; Cutter Neitzel - baritone; Eli Mills - bass; Alvaro Fernandez - bass; and D.J. Easter - bass.
The students will practice new music over the next month and then showcase their talents in a public concert on December 7 at the Beach-Schmidt Performing Arts Center on the campus of Fort Hays State University.
