Scholars Bowl Team Competes Well In Sharon Springs
Last Monday, the Scholars' Bowl team played its best meet of the year. In Sharon Springs, we faced five opponents in pool play, after which we were the only team out of 12 to finish undefeated. We won the semi-final round. We faced Greeley Tribune in the final round. After a tough battle, which included 7 tie-breakers, we lost by one question to take the silver. It was a spectacular showing by our brainiacs and the best they've played all year. Captains were Seth Mills and Audrey Meyer; Jasper, Doyle, Kaden, and Hadleigh comprised the rest of team. We play next Monday, Dec. 9, in Colby.
