High School Basketball Teams Win 3 of 4 Games
The High School Basketball teams won three of four games played at Sharon Springs on Thursday night. The JV Boys played hard but lost a close two-quarters game; the JV Girls also played hard and rallied from behind in the second half to score a victory 31-24. The Varsity teams both locked-up intense, competitive, and exciting games against pretty good Sharon Springs teams. The Lady Indians trailed much of the way, tied the score 27-27 at the end of the third quarter, and then exploded with 26 points in the last quarter to wack the Wildcats 53-41. The Varsity Boys led at the end of every quarter to post the win 57-47. The Indians made 10 of 10 free throws for the game. Also during the game, Brady Dinkel exceeded 1000 points for his high school basketball career so far! Congratulations Brady!
