Kansas Day Celebrated
The third grade students presented a Kansas Day Program on Friday, January 27th in the grade school gymnasium. Each third grade student spoke to the audience giving interesting facts about Kansas. The students then performed several dances in celebration of Kansas Day. The students were under the direction of Cindy Wiley, third grade teacher, and JeanAnn Confer, elementary music instructor.
Helene Landenberger was also part of the program, sharing some of the poetry she had written. The students did a great job and everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the program.
