Student Showcase: Journalism/Desktop

State Journalism Students Place Well

Several St. Francis journalism students and their instructor, Brenda Day, traveled to Lawrence, KS on Friday and Saturday (May 1 & 2) to complete in the State Journalism Contest.  Students participating in the contest were:

Freshman:  Hayley Brown
Sophomores:  Mikaela Grace, Aly Marin, Aubree Schlepp, and Sarah Trembly
Junior:  Dale Northrup
Seniors:  Courtney Douthit, Elizabeth Gienger, Sarah Guthmiller, Andrea Holzwarth, Cara Hunt, Jami Pevler, Joni Pevler, Taryn Richard, Matt Whitmore, and Candice Wiese.

The students represented St. Francis very well.  The results from State Journalism Contest are listed below:
