Seniors Molly and Ellee work together and find new interests in their colleges. Ellee talks with Molly about her school and what she is excited to do. Ellee told Molly “I want to attend a college that is in a big city but that has a small campus.”

Molly Gilliland researches her future college to collect more information. She is preparing herself for graduation and has been working hard throughout the entire school year. Gilliland said “Im keeping my grades up and trying to build healthy habits.”
The members of the Class of 2023 are in their final months of high school. They are wrapping up their senior year and preparing to go to college to start their next chapter. We went around interviewing seniors and asked them about their post-secondary plans.
We asked senior, Molly Gilliland about her plans for college. Gilliland is planning to attend the University of Kansas, where she will major in Law and Society. Some things she is doing right now to prepare for college are keeping up with grades and building healthy habits. Gilliland said she was looking for a college that was not too far away and that offers lots of variety. After completing college, Gilliland wants to have a successful job.
Ellee Krien is another senior and we also asked her what her plans are for college. Krien has plans to attend Creighton University and is unsure what she wants to major in. Krien is applying for scholarships, keeping contact with faculty from the university and keeping in touch with her advisor. When looking for colleges Krien was looking specifically for one that was in a city but that had a small campus. Krien says that after finishing college she will be working hard making a living.
Many of the other seniors are preparing for college by filling out scholarships, researching schools, and trying to decide on a major. We wish all the seniors the best in their new chapter of life!
