Sagebrush Shootout Brackets Released
The Brewster Sagebrush Shootout Basketball Tournament brackets have been released. Eight teams will be competing for the Sagebrush Shootout championship including: Healy, Heartland Christian, Logan, St. Francis, Stockton, Stratton, Triplains-Brewster, and Weskan. Action will begin on Tuesday, December 10th. The final two rounds will be played on Friday, December 13th, and Saturday, December 14th.
St. Francis will play Stockton in the opening round on Tuesday evening. The Lady Indians will tip-off at 6:00 pm in the North Gym at Brewster High School. The Indians will follow at approximately 7:30 pm in the same gym.

The tournament will also include a three-point shooting contest and a free-throw contest. A traveling "Sagebrush Shootout" trophy will be presented to the championship team. Medals will be presented to the top three teams. Five players will be selected for the All-Tournament team.
The tournament will utilize the running clock option for games in which with point differential is 30 or greater in the 4th quarter.
The Junior Class will have a full service concession stand. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students.
