Scholars Bowl Has First Meet
On Monday, October 28, the St. Francis High School Scholars Bowl Team competed in their first meet of the season. The team traveled to Atwood to participate with several other local schools.
In the first round of competition, the team competed against Cheylin and won. The team continued the day by losing in the second round, winning in the third round, and losing in the fourth. The Indians lost to Norton and Rawlins County in rounds five and six of competition, but ended up defeating Decatur Community in their final match of the day. The Indians thus finished the day with a record of 3 and 4.
The team will compete in Goodland on Thursday, November 21, at 5:00 p.m.
