Indians tame bulldogs by halftime - By Ben Busse

The Indian football team added another win to their undefeated record on Friday versus the Quinter Bulldogs.

Ben Busse, sophomore, said “The first quarter we were a little flat but we eventually broke them down with our physicality and were able to finish it by halftime.”

The Indians started on defense and were able to get a fumble recovery and capitalize with a score. The Indians kept the momentum going and held the Bulldogs scoreless with their strong defense.

Kobe Tice, senior, said “It was good to finish them by half and add another win to our record even though we didn’t play as good as we can.”

The Indians defense have only allowed 14 points the whole year and still hold their number one ranking in the state.

Adam Krien, senior, said “I’m glad that we are playing good as a team and we plan on making it all the way again this year.”

The Indians will play Wheatland/Grinnell this week at home Friday night for senior night in what is supposed to be a tough matchup.
