Two Indians Play in All-Star Game
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Sunday, April 1st, the annual Northwest Kansas Basketball All-Star Games were held in the Colby Community Auditorium. There were two games. The girls game began at 5:00 PM and featured many talented girl players from the area. The Lady Indians had no representative selected for the game. See below for a complete list of area athletes selected to play in the girls contest.
The boys game followed the girls game. St. Francis Indians, A.J. and Joel McAtee were selected to play in the boys contest along with 18 other outstanding area players. Both A.J. and Joel played very well in the game and were excellent representatives for St. Francis. The "Light" team, on whic A.J. and Joel played, won the contest by a score of 114-98.
