Indian Football Players Receive NWKL Recognition
Twelve Players Honored
Twelve St. Francis Indian players were awarded All Northwest Kansas League honors for the 2007 season. Four athletes, Ted Crabtree, David Guthmiller, Shawn Warren, and Justin Sherlock had previously received honors in preceding seasons.
Receiving first team honors were: Trent Raile (sophomore) running back; David Guthmiller (senior) running back and linebacker; Ted Crabtee (senior) quarterback and defensive back; Ethan Zweygardt (junior) offensive guard; and Shawn Warren (junior) offensive tackle and defensive line.
Receiving second team honors were: Chance Hobrock (senior) center; Keaton Frewen (senior) tight end; Sam Sowers (junior) defensive end; Ethan Zweygardt (junior) defensive line;
Receiving honorable mention honors were: Trevor Hilt (junior) running back; Jesse Pacheco (junior) linebacker; Justin Sherlock (senior) defensive end; Trent Kinen (junior) defensive back.
The Northwest Kansas League includes eight schools: Colby, Decatur County, Goodland, Hoxie, Oakley, Quinter, Rawlins County, and St. Francis. The following players were selected to receive All-NWKL honors for football.
