Sagebrush Basketball Tournament This Week

The St. Francis High School basketball teams will be competing in the Sagebrush Basketball Tournament this week. The tournament will be held at Brewster High School on December 5th, 6th, 9th, and 10th. The tournament involves six local schools including Cheylin, Greeley County, Rawlins County, St. Francis, Stratton, and Triplains/Brewster. Teams will be divided into two pools of three teams each. Pool play will be held on December 5th, 6th, and 9th. Teams will be seeded on the bracket for Saturday's games according to the results of the pool play rounds.

In the girls division, Pool A will include Rawlins County, Cheylin, and St. Francis (seeds 1, 4,and 5). Pool B will include Greeley County, Stratton, and Triplains/Brewster (seeds 2, 3, and 6).

In the boys division, Pool A will include Cheylin, St. Francis, and Rawlins County (seeds 1, 4, and 5).  Pool B will include Stratton, Greeley County, and Triplains/Brewster (seeds 2, 3, and 6).

St. Francis will play Rawlins County on Tuesday, December 6th and Cheylin on Friday, December 9th. The schedule for the St. Francis games on Saturday will not be known until the completion of the pool play rounds.
