5th Grade Enjoys Outdoor Education Experience
The St. Francis fifth grade class spent April 26th and 27th at the YMCA near Estes Park, Colorado. The group traveled to the Rocky Mountain area for an outdoor education experience.
Students participating in the outdoor education experience were: EmmaLee Archuleta, Kazzandra Bala, Cody Baxter, Aaron Blair, Jessica Confer, April Fernandez, Emmanuel Fierro, Christina Frink, Kyla Hicks, Wyatt Hilt, Draven Houtman, Lauren Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Conner Keller, Joslyn Ketzner, Taylor Kinzer, K.C. Krien, Teagan Landenberger, Jorge Olivares, Tiernan Poling, Alex Queen, Brice Raby, Jordan Raby, Mason Schmid, Tayton Weeter, Shelby Wolff, and Shaylyn Zweygardt. Everyone seemed to enjoy the trip.
Some of the activities the group participated in were water ecology, outdoor living skills, and adventurer classes. The students also enjoyed swimming and roller skating.
