Kyla Qualifies For State Golf
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Regional Golf Tournament was held on Monday, October 13, at the Cimmarron Golf Club in Cimmarron, Kansas. Kyla Bandel competed in the tournament and turned in a score of 121. The score was good enough to earn a 6th place finish. The placing also qualified Kyla for the 3-2-1A Kansas State Golf Tournament to be held on Monday, October 20, at Emporia Municipal Golf Course in Emporia, Kansas.
Teams assigned to the Regional tournament included Cimmarron, Fowler, Lakin, Oakley, Russell, St. Francis, and Syracuse. The top three teams and the next five lowest individual scores that are not members of the three qualifying teams qualify for state. Kyla's tee-off time and match-up for the State Tournament will be determined later this week.
