St. Francis Invitational Wrestling Tournament Saturday
The 5th Annual St. Francis Gabel / Jenkins Invitational Wrestling Tournament will be held on Saturday, December 2. Thirteen teams will be participating in the tournament including Atwood-Rawlins County, Burlington (CO), Colby, Goodland, Holyoke (CO), Leoti-Wichita County, Norton, Sterling (CO), St. Francis, Tribune- Greeley County, Triplains-Brewster, WaKeeney-Trego Community, and Wray (CO).
The first session will begin at 9:30 a.m. with matches being wrestled on the first available mat. Session two will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will also be wrestled on the first available mat. The finals will be wrestled on two mats beginning at APPROXIMATELY 5:00 p.m. (The session will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the 2nd session.)
Wrestlers will be competing in the following weight classes: 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, and 285.
All-day admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students (K-12). After 1:00 p.m., adult admission is $5 and student admission is $3. No passes will be accepted for admission. A full service concession stand will be available.
