USD 297 full-time employees complete a yearly suicide prevention training module provided to us by the Kansas Association of School Boards via their Learner Management System. Staff are required to complete the training by September 30 of each year. In addition, school counselor Mrs. Janell Pottorff, is in the process of implementing the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program in our schools. We hope to have the program fully in place by the end of the year.
