Sub-State Volleyball at Wakeeney Saturday
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Kansas Sub-State Volleyball Tournaments will be held on Saturday, October 21. The St. Francis Lady Indians have been assigned to the 2A Sub-State Tournament to be held in Wakeeney. The seeding for the tournament was released on Wednesday, October 18. The Lady Indians are seeded #3 and will play Hill City in Match 2 on the East Court at Trego Community High School. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. and will be played on two courts. St. Francis will have their first match at approximately 3 p.m.
The tournament has nine teams assigned so there will be a "play-in" match at 1:00 p.m. to determine the final team to be placed on the bracket. The "play-in" match will be between Ellis and Oakley. The tournament is a single-elimination tournament. The Sub-State winner will complete in the Kansas 2A State Volleyball Tournament at White Arena in Emporia on Friday and Saturday, October 27 & 28.
